themler desktop not loading

hi,

Themler was working perfectly yesterday.

There were not updates on the computer or anything like that.

This morning, it just won't load. I get a dark chrome page named untitled and nothing more. I rebooted the computer twice, nothing has changed.

I tried to open the debug mode, also won't load.

I really need this to work.

Hello,

Please try temporarily disabling antivirus and firewall and also add-ons for the Chrome browser on your computer.
It can happen that antivirus or firewall are not disabled completely even if stopping them and are blocking/removing necessary files.
Please try to add the following folder to your antivirus/firewall white list:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Themler\
C:\ProgramData\Themler

and try to run Themler.
Please let us know the result.

hello,

I have reset chrome.

I have disabled both the firewall and windows defender.

I added the folders on the exclusion list in defender.

I rebooted the computer.

It's still the same.

i reinstalled the software.

i was afraid to loose my website but it was ok.

was able to retrieve it.

I am having the same problem.
I have tried the above, and after reinstalling it worked for a bit... then froze, and now will not open again.
I reinstalled again and that did not work.
I have put a lot of work into this and I really need it to work.

I have same problem (from today me too! not by chance).

I think it may be The cause is in Google Chrome.(auto updated today?)
I uninstalled and installed Chrome several times, and I found sometime Chrome start good only by single window use.
But does not start from Themla. It screen change black.
Or I can Lunched good Themla one time, but not good in single window.
I can not find a good method.
I checked all that isabeljutras did and same result.
I'm worried.

By the way, In past threads I saw non-chrome Themla that can be used.
If Themla can be use by firefox, I want to use it.

In my case it's now working but because I'm afraid it will happen again, I reuploaded all my websites with the online editor on my server.

This way, I can still access and modify my websites online easily even if the desktop version fails me again.

I did't tried your method.
But I found my way.

1.uninstall Themler and Google Chrome.
2.reinstall Themler and Google Chrome.

Both latest version.
It's OK in my environment.
I don't know why.

I have this issue as well, but don't see the instructions referred to above.
I have found a temporary fix and worked out in a bit more detail whats happening.

It started after the W10 update that messes up DHCP, as documented on the internet. The updates happened as I powered down last night, so the problem started this morning. First boot of the PC as OK, it was when various programs started stalling I rebooted again.
Initially Google Chrome has each window black and a black face in each tab, and Themler has the initial back window.
Themler would not start in debug mode. I looked at the error log and Themler appears not to be connecting to the database.

I then found this information:

To run these networking commands in a command prompt window

In the search box on the taskbar, type Command prompt, press and hold (or right-click) Command prompt, and then select Run as administrator > Yes.
At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:
Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

I ran these 5 commands, rebooted the PC and I can then load Themler, BUT Chrome browser had a black screen and the tabs have a black face in them.

Then rebooted the PC again, this time Themler has the black windows, Chrome works fine.

After some experimentation, its the following command that appears to temporarily fix the issue:
ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

Whichever is used first, Chrome or Themler, the other one will not load.

Any suggestions for a proper fix?
And can I please have the instructions mentioned above.
I have a lot of Wordpress and Woocommerce templates which I cannot lose, how do I back these up. I have asked the question before and not got a reliable answer.

Themler does not working from live site also. It's just showing me connecting .............connecting..........I just convert my client project themler to premium theme, because currently it's too much difficult to working with themler. It's not working perfectly from desktop or live server.

I think day by day their client is increased, so now they need a better server that why we can work smoothly. But, i do not see action from them, it's so sad for us...............

I uninstalled Chrome then re-installed, this does not fix the grey screen issue.

I need to know if I uninstall Themler, download current version then re-install will my themes in the ProgramData folder (W10) still be there and accessible after?

I have also asked in another thread about exporting the zip of a theme to enable import back into Themler, and if I need to export with Themler support or not, and not had a response to that.

This is a MAJOR issue that is affecting my ability to get work done, can we please have a response and a fix.

No answers from Themler support however.
None of the solutions work and I'm left with a not working version of Themler full of themes which I'm building for cliƫnts.
This is costing me alot of money as I'm unable to finish the Themes and therefor unable to finish the websites.

I expect a fix asap!
This is a very critical issue and should be at the top of your priority list!!
